BITSTREAM S.A. has been manufacturing, among other things, Ethernet switches (Hyperion) and time servers (Quazar) for industry for 18 years. We export mainly to Finland, Australia and South American countries. We develop devices from start to finish, from the design of electronics (hardware/software) and mechanics, to assembly on the production line and testing.
IT Support Engineer
Place of work: Lublin
Responsibilities:
- Testing of Ethernet switch prototypes
- Supporting the implementation of devices into production,
- Testing of manufactured Ethernet switches and time servers,
- Creation of technical documentation,
- Technical support of the company's customers, before and after sales.
- Technical training of company employees and external customers in the use of the equipment,
- Active cooperation with the sales department, with the testing department and with production.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of telecommunications, Ethernet networks, IP network protocols,
- Higher technical education,
- Minimum of one year's work experience in IT, technical companies,
- CCNA certification is welcome,
- Experience in IT network management is welcome,
- Very good knowledge of MS Office,
- Knowledge of English to be able to read and write technical documentation freely,
- Active driving licence of category B,
- Continuous improvement of one's qualifications and skills, e.g. in the area of precise time synchronisation.
