On 14-16 May, we participated in the SPIE Energotest Conference ‘Electrical Power Automation in the Age of Transformation’ in Krynica Zdrój. In the face of the energy transition, this conference is becoming a key platform for the exchange of knowledge, experience and best practices in the field of electrical power automation.
The aim of the conference was to identify directions for the development of electrical power automation, initiate discussion on the latest technological challenges and disseminate practical knowledge tailored to the realities of the National Power System (KSE).
The conference programme covered a wide range of topics, such as:
- challenges related to the connection of RES at the transmission system operator level.
- the growing role of DSOs in influencing the KSE.
- the role of conventional energy in the changing conditions associated with the transition.
- the use of fault recorders and synchrophasor technology (PMU/WAMS) in transmission networks.
- modern RES facility management systems.
- prospects for new directions: offshore farms, energy storage, nuclear energy, pumped storage power plants.
The conference was aimed at transmission and distribution system operators, energy producers (conventional and renewable), energy storage entities, the nuclear power generation sector, energy-intensive industries, and construction and technology companies (installations, consulting, innovation).
During the conference, visitors could visit our stand, talk to our representatives and see ‘live’ our data transmission and time synchronisation monitoring devices, such as Hyperion-500, Hyperion-402, Hyperion-200 and Quazar-700, connected to a mobile rack server cabinet.
The event was also an opportunity to learn about the latest trends and technologies and to expand the competence and knowledge shared by key industry experts.
The 25th edition of the Conference was not only an industry meeting – it was an event that inspires and supports the development of innovative solutions in the power industry.
