On 5-7 November 2024, we had the pleasure of participating in the SIWE Conference in Wisła - a key event for engineers and experts in the power sector. This year's edition, as every year, attracted a large number of professionals, offering a unique platform to exchange knowledge and experience on modern technologies and challenges of the power sector.

Key themes of this year's conference

The SIWE 2024 conference focused on key issues related to cyber security in the energy sector, the integration of telecommunications and IT systems, and the automation of data acquisition and processing. Considerable attention was also given to discussing the CSIRE system (Central Energy Market Information System) and IT implementations that support distributed generation management.

Discussions also focused on effective IT support for the utility power industry, where modern systems help not only to manage and monitor the grid, but also to increase the efficiency and reliability of operations.

We would like to thank everyone who visited our stand and took part in inspiring talks. On site, we showcased our advanced data and time synchronisation devices, including working rack-connected models that attracted the most attention from attendees. Our solutions included devices ideal for extended Smart Grid systems with support for PTPv2 time synchronisation and MACsec data protection protocols.
