On 24 October this year, Bitstream had the pleasure of participating in the InSec International Border Security Conference and Exhibition, held in Warsaw. This prestigious event brought together specialists in border protection, security and the modernisation of uniformed services providing an excellent opportunity to share knowledge and showcase the latest technologies that support security at national and international levels.
Presence at such conferences is extremely important for Bitstream as it provides the opportunity to interact directly with representatives of key public institutions and private companies. At InSec, we presented our advanced industrial and network security technologies, which have been supporting critical infrastructure and enhancing the efficiency of uniformed services. Our solutions, such as PTP time synchronisation and synchronous Ethernet, are ideally suited to the needs of critical systems management and border protection.
Bitstream is actively involved in border protection projects, allowing us to make a real impact on national security. An example of such involvement is the project for an electronic barrier on the Polish-Belarusian border, where our company provided monitoring infrastructure using day/night and thermal imaging cameras. The system provides continuous surveillance of more than 200 km of the border.
During this year's conference, our stand was very popular, attracting a wide range of visitors interested in modern solutions for securing critical infrastructure and secure industrial monitoring, confirming the growing need for the solutions we offer. Our devices support MACsec encryption and are PTPv2 compliant.
The trust placed in us by professionals and representatives of the security industry is a signal to us that our technologies, which provide effective protection of critical infrastructure and stable security of industrial networks, are the answer to the challenges of the modern world. It is worth noting that Bitstream is involved in projects that increase the security of Poland's borders.
Our significant achievement was our involvement in the project to build an electronic barrier on the Polish-Belarusian border. This system, equipped with day/night cameras, thermal imaging and motion sensors, monitors more than 200 km of the border, enabling 24/7 surveillance and effective counteraction to threats. This endeavour confirms our ability to deliver reliable and state-of-the-art technology that realistically supports national security.
By participating in InSec, we not only had the opportunity to make new contacts, but also to update our knowledge of the current challenges and needs of the security sector. For us, each such event is an impetus to further develop products in line with the latest standards for the protection and management of critical infrastructure, allowing us to offer solutions tailored to the demanding conditions and specificities of the uniformed services.
For Bitstream, participating in conferences such as InSec is not only an opportunity to promote products, but also to actively contribute to global discussions on the future of border security. We are proud that our solutions, such as industrial Ethernet switches, optical multiplexers or devices offering precise time synchronisation with PTP and IEEE 1588 technology, contribute to raising security standards in Poland and around the world.
