On 29-30 January 2025, we had the pleasure of participating in a meeting at the Cracow University of Technology, where we shared our knowledge and experience on the digitalisation of industrial stations with other experts.
We are glad that we could contribute to the discussion on the following topics:
- Time servers – ensuring precise synchronisation of devices in industrial networks.
- Industrial switches – guaranteeing reliable data transmission in demanding conditions.
- Synchronisation quality monitoring – analysis and diagnostics of digital systems.
During the event, we presented our solutions, including Quazar700, Hyperion H402 and Hyperion H500, which are used in modern power systems.
The main objective of the meeting was to create a space for discussion between specialists from various sectors of the energy industry. The main topic was the testing of the correct operation of digital stations using the IEC 61850-9-2 LE (SV, GOOSE) process bus.
The meeting was attended by representatives of leading companies and institutions such as the Krakow University of Technology, ABB (protection automation and protection system analysis) and OMICRON electronics (protection relay testing and diagnostics, data analysis).
During the meeting, we were able to learn about the practical aspects of testing and diagnostics of devices, discuss design and implementation challenges, and identify the most common problems and ways to solve them.
We would like to thank all event partners for the inspiring conversations, valuable insights and space for knowledge exchange between experts from various sectors of the energy industry. It is thanks to such initiatives that we can develop the industry together and broaden the competences of specialists.
