In recent years, BitStream has played a key role in introducing modern technology in smoke and fire protection control systems. Working with Ela-compil, we have developed the innovative e.CFO module, which is the missing link in the effective operation of the FPM+ control panel. Thanks to this solution, it is possible for the control panel to communicate effectively via optical fibre, which not only increases the reliability of the system, but also enables it to operate under the most demanding conditions.
The fibre optic control network is a huge step forward in fire protection. Thanks to the e.CFO module, networks of FPM+ control panels can be up to several kilometres apart, significantly improving scalability and safety compared to traditional copper-based solutions. This innovation responds to the needs of modern buildings, where fast, secure and reliable communication between systems is a priority.
