OAM The device supports the Ethernet OAM functionality (Link OAM and Service OAM) providing advanced mechanisms for monitoring and controlling work (remote loops, checking the continuity of connection through CFM frames, collecting Ethernet statistics from remote devices). Connection redundancy The HYPERION-200 switch supports the Ethernet Ring Protection Switching technology compliant with the ITU-T G.8032 standard, enabling redundancy of the transmission path with a reconfiguration time of less than 20 ms with support for up to 64 rings. In addition, the device implements standard protection protocols:
• STP (Spanning Tree Protocol) – IEEE 802.1d
• Rapid Spanning Tree Protocol (RSTP) – IEEE802.1D-2004 compatible with legacy Spanning Tree and IEEE 802.1w
